High tolerance cleaning for deep drawn “blind hole” thin aluminum cups, produced at high volumes, requires a clean surface for the consistent application of an inkjet-printed designation on each part.
The Vapor Green Clean™ process was utilized to eliminate contaminants while providing a more environmentally friendly cleaning process. The vacuum drying process produced more consistent results at a faster rate, given the blind hole design. The Dyne test is used to assure successful and consistent application of printing ink designation on the surface area.
Quantities in millions for seven product lines were shipped monthly, on schedule, and with a near 100% acceptance rate.
Conducted an on-site, in-depth analysis and instituted a custom cleaning procedure. Supported and implemented a process of inline cleaning and validation.
